Ellen Degeneres to Judge American Idol 2010

Talk show host Ellen DeGeneres confirmed to join the panel of judges on American Idol Ninth Season beginning in 2010.
Idol, which after this season says goodbye to Simon Cowell as he will launch X Factor on the Fox network on 2011!
Ellen DeGeneres has joked that she is trying not to take Simon Cowell’s decision to quit the show, just as she joins personally.
“This will be [Cowell's] last season and he announced he’s leaving on my first day. I’m trying not to take it personally,” she said.
“He wanted a change and I wish [him] all the luck in the world hosting The Tonight Show!”
