Presidential bet Sen. Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III is now leading in the Philippine Presidential Election 2010 with a large number of difference as reported this day. Lots of Filipinos are amazed how fast the results as the Philippines entered the automatic election for the first time in history.
The counting of votes is now currently over 88 percent of the ballots counted.
The Commission on Elections announced the latest Partial Unofficial Tally for Presidential and Vice Presidential race this day.

MANILA, Philippines – Filipinos are proud to announce to the whole world that they have finally got a historic triumph against Brazil during the Deloitte Street Child World Cup Indoor Football Tournament in Durban, South Africa. The Filipino booters lived up to their “Miracle Team” yelling with pride as the team has a huge hit of 6-2 against the world football power, Brazil.
This is will be the first time that the Philippines beat Brazil in this game.
The victory boosted the team into the shield competition after finishing the Group B preliminaries with a 1-2 win-loss slate which was co-managed by Craig Burrows of Britain.
“We prayed for a breakthrough for the RP ‘Miracle Team,’ and it was answered in a big way with this win over the Brazilians,” said co-manager Ed Formoso, who again thanked British charity Angus Lawon Memorial Trust for making the stint possible.
“It seems that Tinikling footwork beat Samba footwork,” noted RP women’s team skipper Marielle Benitez, when informed of the historic triumph Thursday night.
The Philippines next plays Ukraine on Friday (Saturday in Manila) with the winner taking on the victor of the other Shield semifinals between host South Africa and Brazil for the Shield Cup on Friday. ![]()

PHIVOLCS–DOST Update: Philippines – Mayon Volcano (13.2576 N, 123.6856 E) continued to show an intense level of activity during the past 24-hour observation period. Seismic activity remained elevated in number and size as the seismic network detected 1,051 volcanic earthquakes and continuously recorded harmonic tremors. Many of these volcanic earthquakes were recorded at maximum deflection. Sixty six (66) ash explosions were observed during times of good visibility. These explosions produced grayish to light brown ash columns that reached height from 100 to 1000 meters above the summit before drifting towards southwest.
