It was officially announced that the host of the Late Night show, Jimmy Fallon will be hosting the 62nd Primetime Emmy Awards this year. I think he will do a good remark, especially when he bring his famous parodies.

The 62nd Annual Primetime Emmy Awards will take place on August 29, 2010 at Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles, California USA.

NBC will broadcast the 2010 Annual Emmy Awards live video stream online and on pay-per-view subscription during the awards night. You can also watch the 2010 Emmy Awards live stream on sopcast channels, justin tv, ustream, freedocast and other popular free live streaming sites.

Reminiscing the charm of Sex and the City  movie when the HBO series ended way back in 2004 and became the Hollywood box office on the big screen in 2008, we saw gals totted around some couture creations, painted the town with glitters, distinct writings, character development and other highly memorable plot lines didn’t make it into their Birkin handbags.

Well, just done watching Sex and the City 2! It really sparkle but has no substance at all! Yeah, the movie sparkled as diamonds because I saw Dior, Chanel, Galliano and other designer labels. In addition, there’s an upper crust Manhattan and breathtaking Abu Dhabi. Im sure “Sex and the City” fans are craving Carrie and company’s fashion lifestyle.

But the story seems lacking. The plot continues with the wedding of the best gay buddies of Carrie and Charlotte. Their vows spice up when Liza Minelli performed her desperate rendition of Beyonce’s “Single Ladies.”

Samantha (Kim Cattrall) is tied to her battle against menopause, Miranda (Cynthia Nixon) is thinking how to quit her job, Charlotte (Kristin Davis) is loaded by her two young children and Carrie (Sarah Jessica Parker) is always Carrie. She’s married but absolutely unhappy. Her married life is mundane with Mr. Big (Chris North).

The girls jumps at the chance to get rid from boredom New York City life when Samantha asks them to come along on a publicity trip to a beautiful and luxurious Abu Dhabi resort courtesy of an Arab sheik, a potential new client.

Their luxurious new life in Middle East is off-putting from Samantha’s lack of consideration for Arab cultures to jokes about female head covering and the four-figure-fitting outfits in a camel ride, the attempt to walk on sand dunes in stiletto and the extravagant $22,000 per night suite equipped with four butlers and four Maybachs.

Their life in Middle East is like a queen. Carrie’s world stops  when she saw her former fiance, Aiden (John Corbett) at a spice market. It was a pure romantic comedy cliche moment.
The girls karaoke club performance with back up belly dancers and singers is awesome with their panoramic shot swaggering through the dunes in extravagantly humorous desert ensembles.
Despite of those flashy fashion ensembles, film locations and a couple of cocktails, some sparkles in the movie turns dull. Carrie didn’t find her marriage to Mr. Big dazzling enough. ***pitty for her….sigh***

This 2½ hours long Sex and the City 2 movie is a perfect lovely experience for many movie-goers but to those who wants more, hoping for another big-screen “Sex and the City” comeback!

The 25-year-old “I Kissed a Girl” singer is hot enough to top the Maxim Hot 100 this year with her alluring combination of sexy style and tomboy attitude.

“It’s that feeling you get when you suddenly realize that the smartest, funniest, coolest girl you know also happens to the best looking and a pretty good skateboarder, too,” mused Joe Levy, Maxim’s editor-in-chief. “All of sudden, your crush goes supernova, and this is Katy’s supernova moment.”
